Brassy Business imprints on the city’s cultural map a new type of cultural manifestation, as a response to the public’s need to have access to unique cultural experiences, opening the way to fresh opportunities that can bring into the spotlight the bold allure of the brass instruments.

Brassy Business – Brass International Days is an international event which was launched in October 2020, in Timisoara. The festival’s first edition included masterclasses for young Romanian musicians, a competition and concerts held by world-known brass players.  

Brassy Competition is dedicated to young Romanian brass players, aged 14-30. The call was launched nationally and invited young musicians who play instruments such as trumpet, horn, trombone, trombone bass, tuba, or other instruments specific to fanfares and wind bands such as flugelhorn, baritone and euphonium, to be musically creative.
